Summary:
My bathroom windows curtains have birdhouses on them and I made houses to match that will go on a shelf in the bathroom.

Vintage Chair with a Modern Touch!
Summary:
My husband and I gave a modern face lift to the old vintage Ice Cream Parlor Chair I had as a child. My inspiration was the fabric I found at a craft store. We reupholstered both the seat and the back of the chair using a nail gun and a lot of patience! We elected to leave the existing fabric on because it was still in good condition. We then unscrewed the seat and the back rest from the metal frame and went to work - folding, tucking and stapling. I am really proud of how this project turned out because it's a piece of my past that we have modernized and given to my daughter to enjoy! This project should win because so many people have items just sitting around their house waiting for a makeover. Using existing pieces, you can save a lot of money!
