How should I dispose of my old or burnt out CFL bulbs?

Because CFL bulbs contain a small amount of Mercury, they must be disposed of appropriately. As opposed to throwing them out, it is best to recycle them. If you are unable to recycle them, put the bulb in a plastic bag and seal it so as to reduce the effects the mercury could have on the environment.
