Will new light bulbs be labeled with information so I can compare my options?

Yes. The Lighting Facts label clearly provides the lumens, or brightness, of the bulb, the estimated operating cost for the year, the life expectancy of the bulb and the color of the light (from warm/yellowish, to white to cool/blue). Below is a sample of the new label.
