Ace Hardware of Raleigh Purchase Finalized

The purchase of Ace Hardware of Raleigh by Westlake Ace Hardware is final, as of Monday, July 18. The new ownership group ensures a seamless transition.


KANSAS CITY, Mo. July 18, 2016- Westlake Ace Hardware announced today it has finalized its acquisition of the two-store Ace Hardware of Raleigh chain. Westlake will take possession of two locations: North Ridge Shopping Center (6196 Falls of Neuse Road) and Falls River Shopping Center (10930 Raven Ridge Road).

According to Westlake management and Ace Hardware of Raleigh owners Howie and Brug Jung, store operations and personnel will not be affected by the purchase, and customers are ensured a seamless transition of ownership. Westlake will be officially welcomed to the community at the annual Ace Hardware of Raleigh Hot Dog Daze (August 5-6, 2016).

Both Ace Hardware of Raleigh stores will continue to sell a wide range of traditional hardware products such as fasteners, tools, paint, plumbing and electrical supplies, seasonal lawn and garden supplies, and BBQ products.
