Westlake Ace Hardware Continues to Grow in Texas

The 110-year-old chain acquired Seagoville Ace Hardware, making it the retailer’s 11th location in Texas.


KANSAS CITY, Mo. June 15, 2016- Westlake Ace Hardware announced today it has acquired Seagoville Ace Hardware at 550 North Hwy. 175 in Seagoville, Texas. The 13,000 square foot store is now a Westlake Ace.

With the opening of its newest store, Westlake will have 11 locations in Texas. Eight of the stores are in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex:

  • 3044 Old Denton Road, Suite 202 (to open August 2016 in Carrollton)
  • 1705 W. Park Row Drive (Arlington)
  • 4701 Colleyville Blvd. (Colleyville)
  • 12895 Josey Lane (Farmers Branch)
  • 4440 Basswood Blvd. (Fort Worth)
  • 1116 W. Main Street (Lewisville)
  • 2000 Matlock Rd. (Mansfield)
  • 1004 Andrews Hwy. (Midland)
  • 4652 E University Blvd. (Odessa)
  • 1821 Knickerbocker Rd. (San Angelo)

The new Westlake store will have a 10,700 square foot sales floor and sell such traditional hardware products as fasteners, tools, plumbing and electrical supplies, as well as paint, pet care, outdoor living, and BBQ products. Additionally, the store will feature a large Garden Center and will provide a wide range of seasonal lawn and garden supplies. Grand Opening festivities and sales are planned for July 15-17.

Carla Gill will be the general manager of the new Seagoville store. She was previously the assistant manager of the Westlake Ace store in Arlington, Texas.
