Wooden Crate Storage

Problem spaces:

  1. A blah fireplace hearth, with little texture or dimension. Lack of storage to hold firewood.
  2. A bare wall in kids’ room with no dimension.

Solutions:

  1. Two wooden crates in natural grey color add fantastic storage and accessibility to items. One was used to hold firewood on the hearth and the second was used to store cozy blankets at arm’s reach next to the chair.
  2. For my son’s room I turned the wooden crates on their side and used them as floating shelves on the wall. They have that perfect rustic look for his nautical themed bedroom. There are multiple ways to arrange and stagger them on the walls and offer plenty of shelf space for pictures, décor or favorite keepsakes.

These natural grey wooden crates are so versatile. I love the natural rustic look and the metal accents on the handles and the corners add a touch of industrial feel.  With 5 different sizes available the opportunities are endless from using them as storage containers, wall décor, to carrying fresh fruits and veggies inside from your garden.
