Second chances. Second lives. Second helpings.

Westlake Ace Hardware and Veterans Community Project join forces to launch Bravo Bravo Que BBQ sauces – with 100 percent of the proceeds going to end Veteran homelessness.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 5, 2020) – Westlake Ace Hardware announced today that it is partnering with Veterans Community Project (VCP) to help end Veteran homelessness, one bottle of delicious BBQ sauce at a time.

The new Bravo Bravo Que BBQ sauces range from sweet and tangy to bold and spicy. Most importantly, all proceeds from sales of the sauces go directly to the VCP’s mission of ending Veteran homelessness and providing dignity, shelter, and honorable services to those who fought bravely for our nation.

Starting Oct. 7, Westlake Ace will sell Bravo Bravo Que sauces in all of its 27 stores in the Kansas City metro area. Westlake Ace will also donate all profits from the sales of the sauces to VCP. The sauces can also be purchased online at www.bravobravoque.com.

“We do this because we believe in seconds – second chances, second lives, and, of course, second helpings,” said Bryan Meyer, CEO of Veterans Community Project. “We are partnering with Westlake Ace Hardware as the base camp for Bravo Bravo Que because of their commitment to service. They, like VCP, offer tools that help our neighbors and build a community.”

“Westlake Ace Hardware proudly supports the VCP’s mission and its innovative housing solution to forever end Veteran homelessness. The brave men and women who have served and fought for this country deserve our respect and care,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Westlake Ace Hardware. “We are honored to sell Bravo Bravo Que sauce and help raise needed funds to give our homeless Veterans shelter, dignity, and stability.”

Tasty Details About Bravo Bravo Que

KC Smoke

This bold, hickory-smoked barbeque sauce is Kansas City thru-and-thru! With its brown sugar sweetness, tangy apple vinegar, and a spicy ancho and red pepper finish, it’s guaranteed to make your barbeque sing. KC Smoke goes great with pork and beef ribs, grilled chicken, pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket.

Retail Price – 16 oz Bottle: $7.99

Texas Black Pepper

The name says it all. Texas Black Pepper sauce starts out with a very light touch of sweetness immediately followed to the finish with the heat of black pepper. If you’re not a spicy fan or a black pepper fan, this baby isn’t for you. It is not like a lot of black pepper sauces that you can’t see the pepper or taste it. Texas Black Pepper is the real deal. Not crazy hot but a bold pepper taste that hangs around. Goes great with a cold beer and a beef rib.

Texas Black Pepper is just as the name implies, and it is magnificent on brisket and beef. It’s big and bold. It’s not for sissies.
